This artsy pendant was inspired by old world design and classically gothic themes.  The slightly rustic finish of the bronze metal clay is a beautiful complement to the understated glamour of this piece.  A unique combination of modern and ancient design elements make this a truly versatile piece of art to wear.

The pendant was created with a graceful cut out design and simple round ball embellishments.  The surface has a satin, matte finish that is highlighted by raised areas polished to a high shine.  A shimmering 8mm black and silver pyrite cabochon adds to the mystical, artifact quality of this necklace. Pyrite is a mineral associated with fire energy, warmth, vitality, and confidence.  Also know as "Fool's Gold," pyrite is considered a protective stone that can help one tap into abilities and potential.

This piece of art jewelry was handcrafted in Goldie Bronze metal clay.  This unique artisan clay is comprised of tiny bronze particles suspended in organic binder materials.  When fired in a kiln in a two stage process, the binder burns away, leaving behind a sintered and durable bronze metal in a gleaming shade of gold.  It is finished by hand in several stages, and treated to prevent tarnishing.

The pendant measures just under two inches long, including the bail.  The back has a satin finish and delicate spiral and round accents.

A medium size cable chain in high quality gold fill completes the look.  The necklace adjusts from 17"-20" long and is finished with a lobster clasp and crystal bead dangle.
